What is in the Male Contraception Update Archives?

This Archive is home to previous editions of the Male Contraception Update e-newsletter. The Male Contraception Coalition and the Male Contraception Information Project are working together to produce three monthly newsletters: one for the public, one for family planning service providers, and one for the male contraceptive research community.

The MCU e-newsletter for the public contains:

  • summaries of male contraceptive news from the press and directly from the research community
  • inside scoops on the progress of emerging male contraceptives
  • plain English explanations of the science behind contraception
  • and opportunities for members of the public to make a difference

The MCU e-newsletter for family planning service providers contains:

  • news from the international family planning community
  • clear summaries of emerging male contraceptives designed to help answer patient questions
  • guidance for clinical trials and best practices for existing male contraceptive methods
  • a calendar of related reproductive health and public health conferences
  • and announcements of CME and other educational opportunities

The MCU e-newsletter for the research community contains:

  • summaries of new peer-reviewed publications
  • features on policymaker and clinical trial guidance
  • a calendar of upcoming conferences and events
  • reports of relevant conference proceedings
  • announcements of funding and educational opportunities
  • and a summary of researcher news in the popular press
